I don't fly that often but so maybe someone out there can explain this to me, I'm going to Atlanta at the end of September and so I'm looking at airfares. What I'm finding is its much cheaper to book 2 one-way trips than to book a round trip. Why is that? Its for the same days on the same airlines . . .

So for all you cat lovers out there, anyone feel like fostering some kittens? I heard that a no kill shelter is in need of some foster parents for 45+ cats (most of them are kittens). You can check out Town Cats if you are interested in helping. If you cant foster they could also use some help at the shelter taking care of the ones they are able to take in.

I will probably get more up soon. Most of the photos I took were just of the Dark Garden window displays, I'm sure most of you can live with that =). I did run into some complications with my spare batteries being craptastic and dieing on my in under 5 min after charging them just that morning. Because of that I didn't get to take many pictures after the first set of batteries died. jhogan and kimeidoplex joined me at Dickens and we had a really great time. I got a few pictures of them but the lighting was bad and with the batteries dieing I didnt want to use the flash so the pictures are not that good. I might put some of them up anyways because the corset vest that kimeidoplex got was fabulous but if we are lucky I might be able to talk her into posing for some better pictures! Keep your fingers crossed ;)

Friday night I had dinner and drinks at this nice little place called Tommy's in SF. The margaritas here are awesome and it looks like you can get their margarita mix but make sure to use a good tequila with it. I want to thank debramcp for suggesting Tommy's, I'll be going back again! Might even try an earn my Tequila Masters! So if you are looking for a place to eat while in the city make sure to keep this place in mind.

Also for the Buffy fans that couldn't join us Friday night, you should see the coin operated boy video.

Awesome weekend with many great parties filled with lots of great friends. Also new friends added to LJ =) Hope everyone else had a great weekend.
